| Encounter the Land of Abundance and return to Ancient Shu. At the Chengdu Museum, you can meet history and talk to cultural relics. As you walk into the exhibition hall, exquisite bronzes come into view, as if telling the ancient Shu people's awe of the gods and interpreting the former glory of the ancient Shu kingdom. The Chengdu Museum has a history of 65 years. It has three permanent exhibitions: "The City of Brocade: Chengdu Historical and Cultural Exhibition (Ancient, Modern, and Folk)", "Shadow Play and Puppetry: Chinese Shadow Puppetry and Puppetry Exhibition", and "Man and Nature: Bering Donation Exhibition". By the end of 2022, the museum had 218,289 pieces/sets of collections, including 1,399 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics. There are bronzes from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, pottery figurines from the Han dynasty, Buddhist statues from the Tang and Song dynasties, and paintings and calligraphy from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The exterior of the new Chengdu Museum is decorated with golden copper and transparent glass, which looks like "gold inlaid with jade" in the sunlight. After visiting the museum, you will feel the profoundness of ancient Shu culture and have a deeper understanding of the city. Chengdu Museum
