Yuelu Mountain Hiking

Yuelu Mountain is not high (about 300 meters), but you can overlook the Xiangjiang River and Changsha City from the top. It happened to be the weekend, so many tourists brought their children to climb the mountain. Yuelu Mountain is located in the campus of Hunan University. There are several routes to hike up the mountain. Take the subway to Hunan University Station, walk to Dongfanghong Square, enter from the South Gate of Yuelu Mountain, and walk a small O line. South Gate of Yuelu Mountain→Gulushan Temple→Baihequan→Huang Xing Tomb→Sightseeing Corridor (you can overlook the Xiangjiang River and Changsha City from the top)→Observation Deck (under maintenance)→(walk down the mountain on the ancient tourist trail) Yuwang Monument→Jigaoming Pavilion Ruins→Daozhongyong Pavilion Ruins→Aiwan Pavilion→Yuelu Academy Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick, and the view from the top of the mountain was always foggy. I deliberately stayed for a while but the fog didn’t clear up, so I had to go down the mountain. #5月好去地方2025
