Enjoying the view of Changsha city along the Xiangjiang River at Orange Isle

Orange Isle, located in the middle of the Xiangjiang River, is a narrow sandbank and a landmark attraction in Changsha. Admission is free, but visitors need to make a reservation via the WeChat public account (during off-peak seasons, tickets can also be obtained on-site). Besides being a popular red tourism destination, strolling along the riverside offers a great opportunity to admire the cityscape of Changsha along the Xiangjiang River. The walk to the famous statue is approximately 3 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can pay to take the small train. Despite the scorching afternoon sun, I chose to walk along the river, covering most of the loop (about 6 kilometers round trip). This allowed me to enjoy the cityscape of Changsha along the Xiangjiang River. On the way back, walking on the other side offers views of Yuelu Mountain. Taking your time to stroll leisurely is quite enjoyable.
