Phanom Rung Stone Castle

The majestic castle, Phanom Stone Castle is a world heritage site located at Ban Don Nong Haen, Tambon Tapek, Amphoe Chaloem Phra Kiat, not far from Buriram town. Phanom Rung Stone Castle is built from pink sandstone, a stone formed from an extinct volcano, if I'm not mistaken. It was built in the Khmer style and is located on top of the high Phanom Rung Mountain. The interior is quiet and peaceful. It is another Thai tourist attraction that is worth going to.
