THERE'S A NEW CAFE IN MENTENG

There's a new cafe in Menteng, across from Anomali Coffee and Common Grounds. The place is quite spacious, with a bar area at the back that opens at 11 AM. They also feature live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I went there to try their cakes, which they are known for handcrafted chocolates and pastries. They also offer modern tapas food. Since they open in the morning, they have a breakfast menu and serve coffee. They also have non-coffee options if you're not in the mood for coffee. I ordered their Mr. Earl cake, which has earl grey and orange flavors. The earl grey comes through nicely at first, followed by a stronger orange flavor. It includes dark chocolate, which adds a nice touch without being overly sweet. It's delicious, soft, and not too sweet. I also tried "It's Cashew." I don't remember the exact description, but it definitely had cashews and chocolate, with a crunchy bottom layer. It wasn't overly sweet either. I sampled their "Degan" chocolate, which has a spicy kick and is based on dark chocolate. Another one I tried was the "Tea Time," also dark chocolate with earl grey, which was tasty and fragrant. For drinks, I ordered the "Citrus Coffee," which contains orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, cold brew, tonic water, and citrus.
