Cardrona Bra Fence The Cardrona Bra Fence is a famous tourist attraction in the Otago region of New Zealand. Passersby casually hung their bras on the guardrails, and it eventually became a famous tourist attraction with more than 200 bras. The fence is located close to the road on a farm in Wanaka, southwest of the Cardrona Valley region. Despite the attraction's popularity, opinions vary on its value. The bra fence currently sits next to the race track. The Bra Fence originated in 1998 and 1999 when four bras were hung on a wire fence beside a road for unknown reasons. When word spread of adding bras to the fence, posted by the land’s owner, more bras started showing up. By the end of February that year, there were 60 bras in total, but they were later secretly removed. After the incident was reported by local newspapers, it immediately reached the New Zealand media.
