#September2025 📍 Location: Located on the Crown Range Road between Queenstown and Wanaka, it's one of the highlights of this iconic stretch of road. 🚌 Getting There: Driving is the most convenient option; you'll definitely pass by it on the way from Queenstown to Wanaka, and the drive takes about 50 minutes. ✨ My Take: The Cardrona Hotel is one of New Zealand's oldest hotels and a popular photo spot! Its exterior, with its preserved timber architecture and vintage signage, exudes a Gold Rush-era ambiance. Inside, there's a restaurant and bar where you can order a beer or enjoy traditional meals in a warm atmosphere. In winter, they even have a fire pit outside, making it incredibly comfortable to sit and sip a hot drink. Even if you're not staying overnight, we highly recommend stopping to take photos and soak in the history. 📸🔥

Cardrona Bra Fence The Cardrona Bra Fence is a famous tourist attraction in the Otago region of New Zealand. Passersby casually hung their bras on the guardrails, and it eventually became a famous tourist attraction with more than 200 bras. The fence is located close to the road on a farm in Wanaka, southwest of the Cardrona Valley region. Despite the attraction's popularity, opinions vary on its value. The bra fence currently sits next to the race track. The Bra Fence originated in 1998 and 1999 when four bras were hung on a wire fence beside a road for unknown reasons. When word spread of adding bras to the fence, posted by the land’s owner, more bras started showing up. By the end of February that year, there were 60 bras in total, but they were later secretly removed. After the incident was reported by local newspapers, it immediately reached the New Zealand media.
