I climbed Table Mountain, the symbol of Cape Town.

[Table Mountain] The symbol of Cape Town, 1,086m above sea level⛰️ [How to climb] There are two ways to climb Table Mountain. ・Cable car ・Hiking (←I took this route) [Access to the trailhead] I used Uber from the city🚕 There seem to be several trailheads, but I started from the trailhead called Platteklip Gorge. You can also get to the cable car station by bus, but the trailhead where I started was a little far from the cable car station, so I used Uber. ※By bus🚌 You can also go from the city to the nearest bus stop to the cable car station by shuttle bus. [Time required] ・Cable car → about 5 minutes ・Hiking → 1.5-2 hours I took a wrong turn on the way and it took me 2.5 hours... ※I went right from the sign on the way, but if I went right I would have ended up at the cable car station, so I went left. After that, just follow the road! [Things to bring] - Hat - Sunscreen - Sunglasses - Water - Camera - Towel *You will be sweating as you climb up some rocks with many steps along the way! Bring plenty of water! [Thoughts] The climb is pretty tough, but the views during the climb and descent were amazing! When we reached the top, the sky was white with clouds and fog and we couldn't see the view, but it soon cleared up and we could see the amazing view! There is a shop at the top, and the soft serve ice cream we had there was amazing🍦 You can get to the top quickly by cable car, but hiking is recommended as you can enjoy the view while also feeling a sense of accomplishment✨ If you go to Cape Town, please try climbing!
