Explore Cangnan Ancient Villages | Dengbutou Village

Wenzhou's Cangnan is located in the southernmost part of Zhejiang and is home to many ancient villages. After leaving Wanyao, I went to the surrounding area to experience Dengbu culture. Dengbutou is named after the many stepping stones in the village. It is one of the main transportation routes between the mountains of southern Zhejiang and eastern Fujian. Several ancient roads converge here, earning it the reputation of being a "thoroughfare for two provinces and four counties." 📍Address: Qiaodun Town, Cangnan County, Wenzhou, Zhejiang 🚙Transportation: Self-driving is recommended 🏡According to the "Dengbutou Xie Family Genealogy," the Xie ancestors moved to Cangnan from Fugang, Tingzhou Prefecture, Fujian, with their families during the 7th to 9th years of the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. They first lived in Dayusha, Qiaodun, and later moved to Dengbutou Hongjiahu and the foot of Qipanshan. ☑️Tents can be rented for camping by the stream in Dengbutou. The usual rental period is from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. ☑️I first came here because of the "Luoshan Cafe." The online photos of the cafe by the stream in the sunlight were so beautiful. I recommend ordering an orange Americano, sitting by the window, and enjoying the scenery and coffee. The atmosphere is perfect.
