Natural pools secluded in the mountain

The natural pools of the canyon of Río Grande, near the little town of Quesa is a great spot for a family-friendly hike Also known as “Charcos de Quesa” this natural paradise is just 1 hour drive south from Valencia. You will need to drive your own car, because pubic transportation don’t reach there. Once you reach the parking area, get ready for a hike with plenty of options for beginners and experts alike. One of my favorites is the hike until “Charco del Chorro” a pool with a beautiful waterfall; and if you continue for a few more kilometers upstream you can reach to a prehistoric paintings known as “Abrigo del Voro” a series of figures depicting a hunting scene. #timetotravel
