It is better to visit in the morning, as the afternoon heat can make the experience stuffy since there is no air conditioning inside. 🏨 Accommodation tips: Egyptian hotels are generally quite old, so try to find newly opened ones. 💗 Other tips: Ticket prices are 450 Egyptian pounds for adults and 230 Egyptian pounds for students. Card payments are accepted, but cash is not. Bring water, snacks, and a fan. Wear comfortable shoes, or your feet will be in pain after walking around. If you hire a guide, the tour may take even longer. The museum resembles a giant warehouse, with numerous artifacts piled together in the aisles and along the walls. However, it is also the most worthwhile museum to visit, featuring Tutankhamun's golden mask, the Anubis statue, countless mummies, and more. During the visit, we encountered artifacts being packed for shipment to Shanghai, reportedly over 700 pieces. Yet, this is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the hundreds of thousands of artifacts housed in the Egyptian Museum.
