#August Travel Support Event This is an ancient city built by King Herod on the Mediterranean coast. It was a large city with palaces, amphitheaters, a large chariot, and public baths. It is said to have been the actual filming location for the movie Ben-Hur. It is said to have been a large city through the Byzantine and Crusade periods before it was defeated by the Islamic army.
