Exploring Busan's Baekseondae and Gamcheon Culture Villages

I personally prefer Baekseondae Culture Village. The combination of white and blue is truly stunning. After visiting Oryukdo, I was starving and took a one-hour bus ride to Baekseondae. My first stop was a seaside ramen shop. I arrived around 2 PM and enjoyed a 5000 won ramen and a 4000 won soda. Luckily, I got a window seat with a sea view just as two Korean girls were leaving. The ramen was delicious with mushrooms, kimchi, and egg, and the soda was refreshing, though it was a bit sunny. Walking along the main road, there were many creative shops and cafes with lettered signs, making it a pleasant experience. I skipped the popular cafe 'Having Moment' due to the crowd and preferred the large windows at 'Thrill on the Mug,' but it was too far to visit. Later, I took another hour-long bus ride to Gamcheon Culture Village. The bus ride was quite thrilling with its vertical zigzag roads, and the driver barely slowed down, giving a roller coaster-like experience that amazed all the foreign passengers. Walking along the main road, I found the creative shops less appealing than those at Baekseondae, and the souvenirs seemed lacking in sincerity. Suddenly, I stumbled upon the Little Prince statue, where many people were queuing for photos. I took a unique shot of the Little Prince and the fox. I ended the day at a cafe, hoping to catch the sunset, but it was rather ordinary. In hindsight, I should have spent more time at Baekseondae. A tip: finish your drinks inside the cafe as there are no trash bins outside.
