This 10-year, 800-million-yuan tourism highway is finally open to traffic!

The Ahe Highway, a decade-long project costing 800 million yuan, was officially completed and opened on September 30, 2024. Stretching approximately 208 kilometers, the highway starts from the fork of Dadonggou and Xiaodonggou in Altay City in the east and extends to near Kilometer 7 of County Road X852 in Hemu Kanas Mongolian Township, Burqin County in the west. The highway integrates tourism resources along its route, connecting scenic spots like Dadonggou and Xiaodonggou, the Uxilik Altay Wild Snow Park, Mamila Wetland, Yeke Aqa, Qieken Dala, Tongba Scenic Area, Tuolehaite Wetland Park, and Hemu into a seamless chain, truly earning its title as the "Greater Altay Scenic Area."
