My Altay Adventure: Jiadengyu Accommodation Chapter

Before arriving, I didn't have high expectations—it was just an add-on to my Homu trip. But upon arrival, I found it even more tranquil than Homu, as if stumbling into a European town. At first glance, Jiadengyu feels more like a small village. Calves running by the roadside, horses grazing, and dogs barking—all of it immerses you in the moment. 1⃣️ Activities 🏃 The hotel entrance has shuttle buses to Kanas Scenic Area and the cultural street, making travel convenient. But I preferred simply enjoying the breathtaking views through the floor-to-ceiling windows in my room—it was so relaxing and delightful. 2⃣️ Accommodation 🏠 The area is dotted with small villas, mostly guesthouses. We stayed at Starry Sky Villa, and I'm so glad for my last-minute decision—this place was stunning, with every photo looking like a masterpiece. The experience even surpassed my expectations of Homu. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows facing Jiadengyu National Forest Park. Just stepping outside the hotel yielded wallpaper-worthy shots, and the backyard had grazing cattle running freely. The room featured full smart voice control and underfloor heating, a lifesaver for someone like me who shivers even in late May. The hotel breakfast was delicious too. 3⃣️ Food 🍚 We dined at Haoju Mountain Villa, recommended by a local security guard as one of the better options nearby. The mixed noodles and stir-fries were the best, but I'd skip the pilaf and lamb skewers—they weren't very fresh. That wraps up my Altay trip!
