The magnificent Basilica of St. Stephen

St. Stephen's Basilica (also known as St. Stephen's Church) is the largest church in Budapest. Named in honor of Hungary's first king, it was completed in 1905, making it a relatively young church. The exterior features a symmetrical bell tower, while the interior is magnificently decorated with massive red marble columns and gilded murals. The central dome is a magnificent sight. The statues, murals, and stained glass surrounding the church are also exquisitely detailed.
