Budapest｜ Anniversary celebration in Michelin-starred restaurant

For our last anniversary, we chose a Michelin-starred restaurant in Budapest, run by a Portuguese owner and his Hungarian wife. The staff even shared their love story with us—so romantic! The restaurant features an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs working busily. The wine list is also impressive, offering a great selection of Hungarian wines. The appetizers were exquisite—the scallops paired with hazelnuts had a unique flavor. One of the soups was a pumpkin-based broth with sage and cheese, offering a sweet yet not overwhelming taste—very appetizing! The cod was incredibly tender, complemented by a special sauce that enhanced the seafood’s natural flavors. It was served with a side of vegetables, creating a well-balanced dish. The quail was also very tender and was paired with a traditional Hungarian meat-filled pastry, making it quite filling! Dessert featured a pudding with an exceptionally smooth texture and a rich milky taste.
