Hike Near Nature’s Christmas Trees

#christmastrip Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is home to some of America’s best hiking trails. Bryce is renowned for it’s hoodoos, or stunning rock formations which have been created over time through erosion. Sitting around 8,000 ft. elevation (2450 meters), it can get pretty chilly. But that makes it the perfect place to see snow around Christmas! The park begins at the top, descending into a natural amphitheater of hoodoos below. Tips: 🎄 Some roads throughout the park close for winter due to snowfall. Check with park rangers to see which roads remain open. 🎄Complete the “Hike the Hoodoos Challenge!” Hike down through hoodoo trails, grabbing photos at checkpoints. Show your photos to park rangers at the visitors center to earn a special prize! 🎄Bring hiking poles and traction aids for hiking boots.
