#autumnbeauty Lake Braies is a crystal blue lake beneath an amphitheatre of rock. It is a breathtaking location and the view is spectacular. Lake Braies located 5 hrs drive from Milan so it is worth to spend a day with the view of the lake. The trail around Lago di Braies takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk. It is 2 miles (3.5 km) long. You can also ride a boat 🛶 to power up your adventure. This is the incredible place to visit especially in Autumn.🍂 #100waysoftravel #italytrip

Lago di Braies, (aka Pragser Wildsee in German and Lake Braies in English) is part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, in a side valley next to the Val Pusteria. At an altitude of 1,496 m (4,908 ft), the 77-acre lake makes for a wonderful half-day trip while traveling through the Prags Dolomites. On the West side of the lake, there is a small chapel that was built in 1904. The location has a curious bit of history related to World War II, as has the hotel. It’s truly a beautiful lake, but has gained a lot of fame through Instagram and during the summer it can be filled with tourists.
