Spend a night in Oxford before heading to the Cotswolds the next day. 🗓 Itinerary overview: 09:00 Depart from your hotel in Oxford. 09:40 Pass through Burford, Oxfordshire. The town center has a long sloping road lined with ancient English town buildings, making it a great place to take photos. 10:00 Arrive at Broadway Tower, the highest point in the Cotswolds, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire area. Spend about 10 minutes here to take photos. Tickets to the tower are sold separately. 11:00 Arrive at Bourton-on-the-Water, a popular village in the Cotswolds. A small river runs through the village, and there are many small shops and restaurants on both sides of the river. For lunch, we recommend The Chip Shed, which serves the best fish and chips I've ever had in the UK. 14:00 Head to Upper Slaughter and Lower Slaughter, two villages located just a few minutes' drive from Bourton-on-the-Water.
