The Alps' Eye, Lake Bled in Slovenia

📍Bled Hello! Today, I’d like to introduce you to Lake Bled, located in Slovenia, often referred to as the 'Eye of the Alps.' You can reach this destination by bus, and I took an early morning bus to get there. Although the weather was cloudy, I still enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery. This area is adjacent to the Alps mountain range, and visiting in winter would be ideal to see the snow-covered peaks. Since I visited in September, I didn’t get to see them, but just being close to the Alps was satisfying enough for me. :) As this is a relatively small tourist spot, you’ll likely need only about three hours to explore, excluding travel time. There’s also an option to take a boat to the church on the island. I purchased a round-trip ticket for 20 euros. Note that only cash is accepted, so make sure to bring some with you. While walking around, you’ll come across a place where you can ride a luge. However, it’s quite steep and long, so if you’re not a fan of thrilling rides, I wouldn’t recommend it! After exploring, I waited for the bus to return, but it didn’t arrive on time. I ended up waiting for about an hour to an hour and a half, and since many people were waiting, I missed one bus and had to take the next one. Keep in mind that the number of stops each bus makes can vary, so it’s a good idea to check this before boarding.
