Lisbon, the city of ups and downs!

Located at the edge of Europe in Portugal 🇵🇹, Lisbon, the capital city, is known for its cobblestone streets and steep hills. Trams 🚋 run throughout the city, which perfectly matches my image of Lisbon! The city is safe, English is widely spoken, and for Europe, the cost of living is relatively low. Portuguese cuisine is famous for dishes like Bacalhau, a type of codfish, often enjoyed as croquettes. One dish I found particularly delicious was Sopa de Verde, or Green Soup in Portuguese! This soup 🥣, made with kale 🥬, potatoes 🥔, and chorizo, is absolutely delightful! If you're visiting in summer, I recommend trying Vinho Verde, a refreshing wine. Additionally, Portugal is renowned for its seafood, so dishes like squid ink risotto, seafood stew, and the famous egg tarts 🥧 are must-tries! Especially near the Belém Tower, there's a shop known as the birthplace of egg tarts, which always has a long line. But trust me, it's worth the wait! Speaking of the Belém Tower, it tends to get crowded, so be sure to purchase tickets in advance!
