Trip to Portugal

On a whim in April 2024, I decided to visit Portugal. I booked a flight and my first stop was Porto. After landing, I booked a ride online to pick me up. The driver was very nice and took me to my destination, a lovely Airbnb located next to the metro in the city center. The house was amazing and conveniently located. After dropping off my luggage, I went to the nearby São Bento Train Station to buy a ticket for the next day. The station was stunning, with familiar blue and white tiles on the walls, and I couldn't resist taking many photos. For dinner, I chose a spot next to the Luís I Bridge, where I enjoyed street performances while eating. The next day, I walked across the Luís I Bridge to visit the famous Porto wine cellars and taste the renowned Porto wine. It was a perfect day. On the third day, I headed to Lisbon. To be honest, although Lisbon is the capital, I preferred Porto. In Lisbon, I visited famous landmarks like the Belém Tower and took the iconic Tram 28. These sights can be covered in a day. I also spent a day visiting the nearby town of Sintra, known for Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where 'the land ends and the sea begins.' Overall, I highly recommend a trip to Portugal! I would love to explore it more deeply in the future!
