20,000 Budget for 10 Days Touring the Three Kingdoms: Faroe Islands! Expense Breakdown

Arriving at the world's end, the Faroe Islands, the bill is on the last page. Traveling with friends, stay tuned for live scenes. 1. Flights: Beijing-Dubai-Copenhagen with Emirates Airlines, 5306 RMB, including 25kg checked baggage; Copenhagen-Faroe Islands with Scandinavian Airlines, 1362 RMB, including 23kg*2 checked baggage. PS: Planned to use China Eastern Airlines points to redeem Scandinavian Airlines tickets, but after more than half an hour on the phone with China Eastern customer service, they said it’s theoretically supported but their system can’t process it for unknown reasons, so I spent 800 RMB buying Scandinavian Airlines points for redemption. (If you’re not a SkyTeam member, it’s recommended to buy Atlantic Airways flights because the Faroe Islands have unstable weather and Scandinavian Airlines has a higher cancellation rate than Atlantic Airways.) 2. Car Rental: The two of us rented a mid-size SUV, rental fee for 4 days was 3344.15 RMB, fuel cost 677.74 RMB, tunnel fees 336.21 RMB. My friend mainly drove, so I covered most of the rental fee, and the rest was split evenly, so if there are more people, the cost per person will be lower! 3. Public Transport: 007 Island ferry ticket + 1 person member fee averaged 209.47 RMB per person (ticket includes driver); bought 48-hour passes for Copenhagen and Sweden, two people get a discount, one pass costs 367 RMB. In Copenhagen, people generally buy tickets on their own; there might be ticket checks, and fines if caught without a ticket! PS: Buying combined passes for Denmark and Sweden is more convenient; I calculated that buying separately would save a few dozen RMB. Also, it’s recommended to buy a gold card for the Dubai metro because rush hour is very crowded, and the gold card grants access to a separate carriage. 4. Accommodation: Total 5342.3 RMB. In Dubai, 2 nights at JW Marriott and Le Méridien; Copenhagen, 1 night at AC Bella Sky, 2 nights at Next House hostel; Faroe Islands, Airbnb. PS: My friend and I met in Copenhagen, so I personally spent 1900 RMB on Dubai accommodation! 5. Food: Total 1917.41 RMB. Mainly ate meatballs in Malmö, feasted in Dubai, and mostly cooked at the Airbnb in the Faroe Islands. In Copenhagen, had a 2-person budget meal at Burger King for 99 kr++! 6. Tickets: Total 1536.37 RMB. The biggest expense was the Faroe Islands sea arch hiking, which has increased in price but the benefit is you can take a boat and walk fewer kilometers. Also included were tickets for the sea cliff lake and various churches in Copenhagen. Additionally, the visa was DIY (Schengen visa is really expensive). Bought some random fridge magnets, coffee beans, customized Lego minifigures, and some drone rental fees. Because I used a Visa card and got tax refunds, I’ve recently received a few hundred RMB back~ Save a bit in Dubai, and if there are more people in the Faroe Islands, costs can be shared.
