#hellohalloween 📍 Sugar House Café (Shichahai Branch) 💰 Average spend: around ¥60+ per person Hidden on the third floor above Qingyun Tower, this café might be a little tricky to find at first — but once you step inside, you’ll realize it’s worth the effort. The first floor is spacious and cozy, with indoor heating and large windows that look out over Houhai Lake. Head upstairs to the rooftop terrace, and that’s where the real magic happens. From there, you can see Yandai Xiejie and the Drum Tower in the distance — the perfect spot to sip your coffee, soak up the sunshine ☀️, and chat the afternoon away with friends. Simply beautiful. ❤️ ✔️ Service: The staff are attentive and accommodating — we weren’t happy with the first latte art, and they kindly made us another one without hesitation. ✔️ Taste: • 🔺 Peach Sparkling Drink: Definitely the most photogenic drink (you’ll see it on almost every table), but honestly… it tastes like liquid bubblegum 😅. • 🔺 Oat Latte: Pretty good! Stronger coffee flavor than many other trendy cafés. • 🔺 Mulberry Cream Cake: Looks great for photos, taste-wise just average, about 6/10 on sweetness. If you’re city walking around Shichahai, this is a great place to take a break, unwind, and enjoy the lake view. The scenery is so lovely it makes you forget your worries for a while. And if you stay till evening, don’t miss the sunset by Yinding Bridge — it’s the perfect end to a cozy Beijing afternoon. 🌅
