My perfect day in Beijing in 2020: from the Temple of Heaven to the main square 🩵

I arrived in Beijing during the New Year celebrations. I managed to walk over 20,000 steps and see (even if from afar) the main attractions. It turned out to be a wonderful route! ✨The weather was excellent – warm and sunny! In short, perfect for leisurely strolls. A true spring festival, even though it was January on the calendar! 🔵I strolled around the Temple of Heaven. Interestingly, every structure here reflects the harmony of earth and sky, everything is symbolic and filled with special meaning. The atmosphere was serene. In the mornings, locals enjoy practicing gymnastics here. 📍Address: Yongdingmen Dajie, Chongwen District, Beijing. 🔵Then I visited Tiananmen Square (literally – Gate of Heavenly Peace). It is one of the largest squares in the world! Every day, a solemn flag-raising ceremony is held here. Additionally, the Museum of Chinese History is located here, showcasing the country's centuries-old history and culture. The extensive collection includes artifacts, relics, and valuable books.
