The largest palace is the Taihe Dian Palace. I personally love it here. It feels peaceful even with the crowds, like stepping back in time. When you walk towards the back of the palace, you'll find Jingshan Garden, which you can explore if you have time. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Forbidden City.
