Temple of Heaven - Beijing

Very beautiful park to visit. Quiet and full of history. We went there at around 11 am and stayed until 3 pm. On sunny days it is better to bring an umbrella as there are not so many places under shadow if you are not in the actual park. Suggested to bring food from home as there are a lot of chairs near where you can relax and eat. Notice: Additional ticket to visit the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall. Price per person: 34¥ which also includes the park entrance. History: Built in 1420, it served as a sacred complex where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties performed solemn rituals to pray for good harvests and divine favor. #templeofheaven #beijing #trip #tips
