Explore the world’s most futuristic Airport: Daxing

I had a short layover at Beijing Daxing Airport, and I have to say—it’s now my favorite airport! First of all, it’s absolutely stunning! You can immediately feel Zaha Hadid’s touch in the design. Second, it’s incredibly efficient. The entire transit process, including security, took just 12 minutes—thanks to the fact that there’s only one terminal (even though it’s massive!). And third, my favorite part, there’s an open-air Chinese garden! After a 7-hour flight, it was quite literally a breath of fresh air. Since it was early morning, the place was almost empty.
