Beijing Citywalk: A Hotel in the Hutong That Makes You Never Want to Leave

How can you visit Beijing without exploring the hutongs? Strolling north from Nanluoguxiang, half a day is just perfect. Two days and one night in Beijing with six adults and six kids—eating, shopping, and chilling. We encountered so many charming spots in the hutong and captured plenty of "Beijing" moments. The kids created wonderful memories here. Route: Exit from Nanluoguxiang Station Exit E and walk straight. For this trip, we chose the trendy Chaodongli Hotel, which embodies Beijing's hutong charm. The hotel and rooms feature a rustic wabi-sabi style, blending Chinese aesthetics everywhere. Full of Beijing flair—located in the bustling city yet peacefully quiet! ✅ Prime location ❤️ Right next to Dongsi Subway Station, making it super convenient to visit the Forbidden City, National Art Museum, and Wangfujing 🚇 Or just wander around the hutongs and nearby unique shops—perfect for Citywalk! ✅ The hotel’s Mini Mall has everything for dining, entertainment, and fun. With kids, you can handle accommodation, meals, coffee, afternoon tea, and art exhibitions all in one place—two days packed with joy. ❤️ Shoutout to the Korean restaurant downstairs—their snowflake cheese fried chicken is absolutely delicious! ✅ Exceptionally thoughtful service! The front desk staff helped carry our luggage to the room. The book lounge and laundry room are together, giving a cozy "ideal home" vibe. Great for families with kids 🏡 In short, traveling with kids is tiring but joyful. Six kids fighting one second and making up the next, Six adults scolding one moment and laughing the next— This Beijing trip was a perfect 💯! We’ll definitely stay here again!
