🌳Time: April 29 - October 7 🌳Location: West side of Provincial Road S220, Yanqing District, Beijing 🌳How to buy tickets🎫: Online: Damai, Aoyou, official WeChat of the Expo, official website 🌳Price: Designated days (May Day and other public holidays): 160 RMB / Regular days: 120 RMB, no need to exchange tickets, just scan your ID to enter 🌳Tickets used after 4 PM are still valid the next day 🌳Opening hours: 8 AM to 9 PM, last entry at 6:30 PM 🌳Convenient routes: ♻️ Shuttle buses (from urban area) There are 6 shuttle bus lines from the city directly to the Expo, all starting at metro transfer stations, stopping at P3 parking lot inside the Expo: Line 1: Metro Zhuxinzhuang Station Exit B2 Line 2: Metro Beianhe Station Exit D Line 3: Tiantongyuan North Station Exit B Line 4: Jin’anqiao Station Exit C Line 5: Xierqi Station Exit A2 Line 6: Liuliqiao East Station Exit E ♻️ Shuttle buses (from Yanqing): Y44/20/4/9/10/46 ♻️ S2 Line ♻️ Self-driving: Jingli Expressway, Jingzang Expressway, Jingxin Expressway, Jingyin Road 🌳What to eat? The dining options at the Expo are really good, with nearly 70 outlets including KFC, McDonald's, Yoshinoya, Pizza Hut, Donglaishun, Fish Head Pancake, etc. Prices are reasonable without any overcharging for being inside the park. 🌳Where to stay? Beijing World Horticultural Expo Hyatt Hotel (already open) and many nearby homestays ‼️🌳The official four different themed routes for different groups are not practical for young people once inside, quite useless‼️ Better to explore freely. ⚠️The four main indoor pavilions: ‼️Most worth experiencing: The Plant Pavilion! Must mention the top floor has a Zhongxin Bookstore where you can also order food, with a large terrace and beautiful views. ♻️China Pavilion: As it’s our country’s pavilion, it’s very crowded. They limit visitors starting at noon, which helps. It’s huge, mostly common flowers, many peony varieties, and the landscape light and shadow scroll is worth seeing! ♻️World Pavilion: Just check out the flower umbrella architecture outside! ❎Life Experience Pavilion: Mainly exhibits traditional Chinese medicine and wellness, quite far away, can be skipped. 🌳Outdoor must-experience and photo-worthy pavilions and areas: ‼️Mangrove TeamLab Digital Art Exhibition (in the Plant Pavilion, a globally popular and beautiful exhibition) Time Garden, Beijing Garden, German Pavilion (with beer garden), Qatar Pavilion, UAE Pavilion with hand-painted Henna, Japan Pavilion, Horticultural Town, Flower Fields, Yongning Pavilion, the path to China Pavilion lined with crabapple and cherry blossoms 🌳Magical Light and Shadow Forest: Sun Mirage 9 AM–6 PM, Moon Mirage 7 PM–8:30 PM 🌳Two super beautiful February orchids spots inside the park: In front of the Beacon Tower stop of the sightseeing bus and behind the hill of Yongning Pavilion, much more spectacular and beautiful than Jiangfu Park! 🌳Sightseeing bus: Tickets sold at the wooden kiosk next to the International Pavilion, 10 RMB each. You really need to buy a ticket, or you’ll walk until your legs break! 🌳Flower float parade: Starts at 3 PM from the International Pavilion 🌳Music fountain: Two shows at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM 🌳Recommended visit duration: Two days is better ‼️Finally, please watch your step and protect the flowers and plants when taking photos!
