Water, Mountains, and Tranquil Moments

The moment I set foot in Gubei Water Town, the noise of the city faded away, and time seemed to slow down. Walking leisurely along the stone-paved paths, I found clear streams flowing, serene shops, and tea houses lining the way. There weren’t many people around, and the expressions of travelers sitting here and there all seemed peaceful. Especially the view of the water surface from the bridge—it was as calm and warm as a watercolor painting. When a boat glided through the water, the scene felt so cinematic that I stood there, mesmerized for a long time. At night, as the lights gradually turned on, the town transformed into a completely different atmosphere. In the quiet and cozy air, I felt my thoughts deepen even more. If you're visiting Beijing, I highly recommend spending a day in Gubei Water Town. It was the most serene and fulfilling day of my trip.
