A trip to Beijing: Seeing Mao Zedong at Tiananmen Square and visiting the Forbidden City

The final stop of my Beijing trip was Tiananmen Square. The moment I saw the massive portrait of Mao Zedong in person, I could truly feel the weight of modern Chinese history. The square was larger than I expected, bustling with people, and full of energy. As night fell, the lights illuminated the square, creating an even more stunning atmosphere. The sight of the Chinese flag fluttering in the wind was striking, and the view of Beijing's cityscape centered around this iconic location left a lasting impression. I felt the charm of Beijing, a city where history and modernity coexist, right up until the end of my trip. Wrapping up my journey at Tiananmen Square made it all the more meaningful.
