Hotel Review: Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing – Some Details

The Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is probably the most unique luxury hotel to open in Beijing in recent years. It officially opened on September 2, 2024. The hotel is located in the most central area of Beijing – the Qianmen commercial district. The hotel focuses on offering guests an experience of Beijing's Hutong culture. In the early stages of design and renovation, the existing Hutong residents were not deliberately relocated as a whole. Instead, a micro-renewal approach was adopted for the design. Each guest room is an independent courtyard, offering better privacy, so that every guest who comes to the hotel can experience the most authentic old Beijing Hutong culture.
