I climbed to the top of the hill just before sunset, and the sight of cherry blossoms fluttering in the breeze with the golden roofs of the Forbidden City in the background was magical. It’s a bit of a climb, but totally worth it. This spot balances history and nature, making it a favorite spring stop in Beijing.
