I went to the Badaling Great Wall a while ago and stayed at the amazing Huanjing Homestay nearby. I have to share it with everyone. 🚗Location and transportation: The homestay is located in Dongcaoying Village, Badaling Town, about 9 minutes' drive from Badaling Station and very close to the Great Wall. After we arrived at Badaling Station by high-speed train, the owner enthusiastically picked us up by car, which was so considerate! The next day, they also took us to the foot of the Great Wall, and then took us back to the high-speed rail station for our return trip. The service was so thoughtful. 🏡Environment and facilities: The homestay opened in 2019 and inherits the local traditional architectural style. It uses local traditional building materials. The space is more than 800 square meters, close to nature without losing a sense of modernity. There are conference rooms, projectors, mahjong machines, and KTV, which can meet the needs of leisure vacations, entertaining friends, and business receptions. There are also slides and a simple swimming pool, which are very suitable for family trips. There are many types of rooms, including double bed rooms, family rooms, and family rooms. We stayed in a family room with a 1.2m bed and a 1.5m bed, which was spacious and comfortable for three adults. 🧹Hygiene: The rooms and bedding are very clean, much better than many express hotels. The bedding is changed for each guest and cleaned and disinfected in a timely manner, so you can stay with peace of mind. 🍽Dining and service: The homestay has a kitchen with complete seasonings and kitchenware, so you can cook your own meals. There is a restaurant next door, and you can also order takeout if you don't want to cook. The owners and staff are all warm and hospitable. When you check in, they will introduce the surrounding attractions and precautions in detail, and any needs can be met in a timely manner. 💰Price: The price for renting the entire courtyard is usually CNY 5,000–5,800, and CNY 6,500–7,280 on holidays. It is quite cost-effective for several families to share the cost. It is also convenient to visit the surrounding area. The Badaling Great Wall, the zoo, Yeya Lake, and Yudushan scenic area are all nearby. This stay at Badaling Huanjing Homestay was a great experience, and I highly recommend it to friends who are going to Badaling!
