Flower types and locations - West Causeway Peach Blossoms: Over 2,000 wild peach trees bloom along the approximately 2-kilometer-long embankment between Mirror Bridge and Willow Bridge. The peach blossoms, distant mountains, pavilions, and towers create a picturesque scene.  - Leshoutang Hall Magnolias: Blooming from late March to mid-April, these snow-white magnolias have a captivating fragrance. Empress Dowager Cixi once called them the "Fragrant Snow Sea."  - Forsythia: The best viewing spots are Forsythia Road and the Farming and Weaving Scenic Area. The blooming period is early April.  - Lilac: Over 100 lilac trees are planted along the imperial road behind Longevity Hill, creating a "Lilac Road." The blooming period is early April.  - Plum Blossoms: The best viewing spots are the Ziqidonglai City Gate, the Garden of Harmonious Interest, and the Farming and Weaving Scenic Area. The blooming period is from late March to early April.  Flower viewing routes - Route 1: Enter through the South Ruyi Gate, visit the West Causeway, and see the Marble Boat. Then, go to the Picture in the Middle of the Lake, stroll along the Long Corridor to Leshoutang Hall to see the magnolias, and then visit the Jingfu Pavilion. Enjoy the scenery along the Back Lake and exit through the North Palace Gate. - Route 2: Enter through the West Gate, visit Changguan Hall to admire the wild peach trees and magnolias, and then go to the West Causeway. After that, visit the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, the Bronze Ox, Zhichun Pavilion, and Yulantang Hall. Go up the hill to the Ziqidonglai City Gate, then to Jiqingxuan and Jingfu Pavilion. Return to Leshoutang Hall, walk along the Long Corridor to the Picture in the Middle of the Lake and the Marble Boat, and finally exit through the North Ruyi Gate. Transportation - Subway: Take the Xijiao Line to the Summer Palace West Gate or Line 4 to the North Palace Gate. - Bus: Take bus No. 74 to Liulang Swimming Pool. - Car: We recommend parking at the Liulang Swimming Pool parking lot near the South Ruyi Gate.
