5-day Guangzhou to Beijing tour for CNY 2,800 per person during the off-season Day 1 Feb 20: Temple of Heaven - Shichahai After landing at the airport, take the subway to the hotel to put on makeup and have dinner. Then, take a taxi to the Temple of Heaven (recommended route: enter through the north gate and exit through the south gate) 8:00–16:30. Tickets: CNY 15 for the main gate, CNY 28 for combined tickets. Please bring your ID card. Approximately two hours. 📷Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests: You need to buy a combined ticket to see the whole view. It takes more than half an hour to get from the south gate to Shichahai by taxi. Free admission. The Drum Tower is nearby. After enjoying the blues, we will go to have some hotpot. Day 2 Feb 21: Tiananmen Square - Summer Palace Watch the flag-raising ceremony in the morning. Make a reservation nine days in advance on the WeChat mini program "Tiananmen Square". Arrive at 5:30 and go through security check at Entrance 1. Please bring your ID card. The flag-raising ceremony starts around 7:00. After watching the flag-raising ceremony, have breakfast and go back to the hotel to catch up on sleep. The subway ride is half an hour. In the afternoon, take the subway to the Summer Palace. The subway ride is 40 minutes. Tickets: Make a reservation on the WeChat mini program "Jingtong". 13:00–18:00. CNY 20 per person during the off-season. Take the subway back to the hotel. The subway ride is more than an hour. Siji Minfu's roast duck is delicious for dinner! Day 3 Feb 22: Palace Museum - Jingshan Park Have some milk skin at Zi Guang Yuan in the morning. The pan-fried matcha at Yanlong Tea Shop is delicious! Take the subway to Wangfujing for a Gege hairstyle. The subway ride is 45 minutes. We will do our own makeup. We found a shop on the street to rent costumes. Then, walk to the Palace Museum for ticket check. Tickets: Make a reservation seven days in advance at 8:00 PM on the WeChat official account "Palace Museum" and fill in your personal information to purchase tickets for the afternoon session. CNY 40 per person during the off-season. Walk to Jingshan Park across the street to overlook the Forbidden City. Tickets: CNY 2 per person. Make a reservation for 16:00–19:30 in the afternoon. After visiting the park, return the costumes and have dinner. Then, change hotels. Day 4 Feb 23: Universal Studios Tickets: CNY 410 per person. 🏨Stay at a hotel near Universal Studios. Free shuttle bus at 8:30 AM to Universal Studios. After security check, you will see the Universal globe. Go through the hotel and scan your ID card and face to enter. Time: 9:00–20:00. Follow the counterclockwise route to visit the Minions, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Three Broomsticks, Jurassic Park, Kung Fu Panda, and Transformers. Minions (Despicable Me Minion Mayhem roller coaster 🎢 + Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem 4D film) Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey 5D roller coaster + Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster 🎢 suitable for those who are easily scared). These two are fun, so we rode them twice! Hammond (restaurant 🍴) Butterbeer 🍻 is so good! Not too strong. Jurassic Park (Jurassic World Adventure + Jurassic Park River Adventure 5D roller coaster 🎢 + Raptor Encounter: talk to the velociraptor and take photos. Not recommended) Transformers (Transformers: The Ride-3D + Bumblebee Spin). Universal Studios Grand Parade (15:00 for about 20 minutes). The best viewing spot is in front of Jurassic Park! You can also see it at Hammond. After playing until the park closes at 8:00 PM, go to Bianyifang nearby for roast duck. Day 5 Feb 24: Nanluoguxiang Get up in the morning to put on makeup and pack your luggage. Store your luggage at Exit F of the Nanluoguxiang subway station. Spend the last day here, strolling and eating. Take some photos on the second floor of the Yuangu Tavern. The scenery is nice. Finally, take the subway to Daxing Airport. The subway ride is more than an hour. Then, fly back to Guangzhou.
