Splendid China: Embroidery Public Education Exhibition

Splendid China: Embroidery Public Education Exhibition will open at the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum on October 18, 2024. The exhibition will feature 200 pieces/sets of representative and typical embroidery from different regions and ethnic groups in China, including Suzhou embroidery, Shu embroidery, Xiang embroidery, Cantonese embroidery, Beijing embroidery, Miao embroidery, Manchu embroidery, Shui embroidery, and horsehair embroidery. The exhibition will be divided into five sections: "Yellow River Embroidery," "Yangtze River Embroidery," "Cotton Blossom Embroidery," "Northern Embroidery," and "Southern Embroidery." The exhibition will showcase the history and contemporary development of Chinese embroidery, allowing more visitors to learn about China's excellent traditional culture.
