The Five-Color Shallow Mountain is at its best for fall foliage viewing.

📍: Five-Color Shallow Mountain Waterfront Hiking Trail 📆 Viewing period: Now to mid-December I didn't know what it meant to be surrounded by colorful mountains until I came to the Five-Color Shallow Mountain. And it's free! Compared to the well-known Fragrant Hills, Shunyi is a bit more atmospheric. Currently, the white hair valley is at its peak for red leaves, with 100% autumn vibes. The mountain is not high, with a gentle slope, making it friendly for all ages. The view is great for fall foliage. The road is a bit wild, with lots of gravel, so be careful. I would call it the best small mountain to climb! If you only go to the white hair valley, it takes less than 40 minutes to complete the whole journey. There are no restrooms or food supply points, so be prepared in advance.
