Forbidden city

Although we couldn’t enter the legendary Forbidden City, it didn’t stop us from seeking to witness its grandeur. We made our way to Jingshan Hill nearby, and our patience was rewarded. From the top, a stunning view of the ancient palace complex unfolded, with its golden roofs gleaming in the sunlight, like pages of history. However, the view was somewhat marred by the fog that hung over the city, casting a hazy veil.
