This time when I visited the Palace Museum in Beijing, I happened to encounter this special exhibition set up at the Meridian Gate - Brilliant Persia: The Essence of Iranian Cultural Relics Exhibition! This exhibition brings together a total of 216 precious cultural relics collected by many museums in Iran, showcasing the beauty of Iranian art from many aspects including architecture, sculpture, ceramics, glass, metal, calligraphy and painting. Being in it, it feels like traveling through time and space and being in the glory of the Persian Empire. Each cultural relic is a witness to history, telling the thousand-year story of Iran and the glory and heritage of Iranian civilization. Whether it is exquisite ceramics or unique metal crafts, they all demonstrate the wisdom and creativity of the Iranian people.
