Master Kengo Kuma's finest work - the Park Hyatt Beijing Hotel

Kengo Kuma's design style really suits my taste, adept at using natural bamboo, wood, and stone to create a Zen living atmosphere that follows the way of nature. He has three works in Beijing: the Yushu in Sanlitun, the bamboo house inside the commune at the foot of the Great Wall, and the Park Hyatt in Wangjing. After experiencing all of them, I believe the Park Hyatt in Wangjing is the master's finest work. The integrated design concept runs through the entire hotel, visible in every corner, with a very high level of completion. The master has crafted a stunning retreat for guests with bamboo groves, wooden lines, and stone steps, achieving a transition from bustling to tranquil the moment you enter the hotel's gate. The lobby is structured on three levels, connected by two spiral staircases, and the boundary-less all-glass railings make the three levels feel like a unified whole. The second floor houses the Xunbary restaurant, among others, while the first floor contains the reception and lobby bar, where many people stop to take photos. Below is the beautifully designed all-day dining restaurant and the well-equipped spa, both distinct and fully functional. The hotel's gym is spacious with a wide range of equipment, second only to the heavily equipped Mandarin Oriental. However, the swimming pool is not as good as the one at the Mandarin Oriental.
