Beihai Yintan Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel is a great place for a family vacation. 💯 ❤️ Waiting to check in | Although it was the peak summer season and the hotel was fully booked, we had to wait for our room to be cleaned. However, the hotel lobby was large and spacious, with a tea and snack area where guests could help themselves to free tea and snacks. ✅ There was also a conference room next to the tea area where cartoons were shown, so the kids didn't get bored while waiting. 🧡 Butler service | When checking in, the front desk asked if we needed butler service. If we did, the butler would add us on WeChat. This was great, as it showed respect for the guests' wishes. If we didn't need it, we wouldn't be disturbed. The butler service was also very prompt and responsive. During peak dining times, when the delivery robots were busy, the butler would personally deliver takeout to our room. 👍🏻 💛 Room | We stayed in a sea view room, which overlooked the pool and the bustling beach. The hotel is located in the Yintan Scenic Area, so we could hear the beach manager blowing his whistle from our room. It wasn't too noisy and was acceptable. One minor complaint was the design of the corridor, which was open and had no air conditioning, making it a bit stuffy in the summer. 💚 There was a small detail in the room that impressed me. All the unused sockets on the wall had protective covers. I've stayed in many family-friendly hotels, but I've rarely seen such attention to detail. They really thought of everything. 🩵 Pool | The pool was spacious, with plenty of lounge chairs. There were three separate areas, water play equipment, a bar, and water play rings available for rent. 💙 Beach | The sunrise and sunset were beautiful! We could walk to the beach from the pool. The hotel provided many children's sand play tools, ✅ which were available for free at the pool (you just needed to scan a QR code and follow an account, which was easy to do). The beach was part of the scenic area and had fine sand that was comfortable to walk on barefoot. The seawater was relatively clean, although not as clean as in Sanya. When there were many tourists, it was best to walk to the left side of the beach from the hotel, as there were fewer people there. 💜 Restaurant | The food was varied and delicious, but the only complaint was the layout of the food area, which was a bit crowded during peak breakfast times. 🤍 Surroundings | There were food stalls, restaurants, and supermarkets opposite the hotel, which were very convenient. Takeout orders arrived within half an hour.
