🦇 Kuala Lumpur Batu Caves + Newly Developed Art Caves

Batu Caves are a must-visit attraction recommended in almost every travel book when you come to Kuala Lumpur. The huge golden statues and colorful staircases outside were indeed very eye-catching, however I was a little disappointed with this experience. 🎟 Unexpected charges The first thing I saw after getting off the bus was someone charging at the entrance, RM15 (about HK$28). I was a little surprised under the impression that the Black Wind Cave was a free attraction, but because I was in a hurry. When I entered, I realized that it was a newly developed cave filled with many artificial sculptures of gods. As I left I saw a ramp on my right leading to a taller cave, like a stalagmite cave. However, because it was too high and too steep, plus there was not much time, I could only look from a distance and had not had the chance to go up. I hope some friends want to go there, can send later photos for you to enjoy. ⛰ The road up the mountain and the real black wind cave We then walked over a hundred colored stairs and finally arrived at the real Batu Caves. The space inside the cave is grand and the natural rock wall is quite shocking, but the thing that surprised me the most was: no bats at all! But because going up and down the stairs is very time-consuming, and up to take pictures are back down, probably took about an hour and a half 😅 😕 Personal feelings The entire visit adds up to less than 2 hours. In addition to the giant golden statue outside, colorful staircases for beautiful photos, the absence of bats in the cave and the newly developed toll attractions are relatively average. It felt a little different from my original expectations. 📝 Recommendation • Fees: Remember that the main cave of the Black Wind Cave is free, if you don’t want to enter the newly developed cave you can go straight up the stairs. • Equipment: Stairs are high and steep, remember to wear light shoes. ✅ Summary: The exterior of the Black Wind Cave is more exciting than the interior. Expect to explore a cave or bat colony in depth, you might be a little disappointed. #hktaster ##HongKongGourmet #BlackWindCaves #BatuCaves #KualaLumpurAttractions #MalaysiaTravel #TripMoment
