The Circus.

This Bath Crescent surprised me a bit because at first I thought the Bath only had 1 "scythe" but I was so wrong. We found Kings Crescent - now called The Circus, temporarily went from A to and then this just opened. It was not a crescent like a circle divided into three parts, with a large circular grassy area in the center with large oak trees planted some time after it was built (started in 1754 by architect John Wood and completed by his son John Wood junior). Beautiful Georgian buildings, playing nods to ancient Rome, Inigo Jones architecture, hints of Stonehenge and masonic symbolism (of which there are MANY in Bath), all very eclectic - but it works! #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
