On foot, you can see the sky burial platform and the Padmasambhava statue in the middle circle, and you can overlook the magnificent landform of the Nujiang Grand Canyon when you climb to the main peak. If you depart in the morning, you can reach the Duola Mountain Tourist Service Center in 15 minutes by car to participate in Tibetan song and dance performances or hot spring experiences during the May Day holiday. Self-driving tourists can use the hotel's free self-service car wash to wash away the dust along the way, and then walk for 5 minutes to integrate into the local village and feel the idyllic picture of highland barley fields and Tibetan houses. 🏨 Facilities and services: "Safe harbor" for plateau travel As a new hotel opened in 2020, Yunman's core selling points are its oxygen supply facilities + intelligent guest room control. All rooms are equipped with a diffused oxygen supply system (oxygen concentration of about 90%), with floor heating and a humidifier, so you can sleep peacefully even when you first arrive on the plateau. The oxygen-supplied elegant twin room (about CNY 400/night) uses zero-pressure mattresses and smart curtains, so you can wake up naturally in the sun in the morning. The public area has a free laundry room (with laundry detergent), a chess and card room and a billiard room. The butler team responds to needs 24 hours a day, and even gives guests fruits and small breads when they leave the store. It is worth mentioning that the hotel provides free parking lot and charging piles. Self-driving families can directly receive car oxygen cylinders, which is as considerate as a "mobile oxygen bar". 🍜 Dining experience: The taste of eastern Tibet on the tip of your tongue The hotel's breakfast is presented in buffet style. In addition to traditional Tibetan zanba and butter tea, it also serves freshly cooked rice noodles and Western-style fried eggs. It is especially recommended to pair it with highland buckwheat pancakes (intangible cultural heritage food, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). For dinner, you can try the Tibetan yak hot pot (CNY 168 for a 2-3 person set menu). The soup base is made with beef bones simmered for 6 hours, with wild mushrooms and highland barley noodles. It is fresh and delicious. If you want to experience local specialties, you can reach the Old Village Chief Canteen in 10 minutes on foot. It is recommended to try fritillary chicken nuggets (fritillary and native chicken are stewed slowly, nourishing and healthy). The hotel restaurant also offers plateau coffee (CNY 35/cup), paired with handmade milk residue biscuits, which is an excellent companion for afternoon viewing.
