Delicious Brunch and a Green Oasis: Roast Café at EmQuartier

#favouriteitinerary Roast Café at EmQuartier quickly became one of our favorite brunch spots in Bangkok. It had everything we love—amazing food, great coffee, and a cozy yet stylish atmosphere that made us want to stay all morning. The space had that perfect mix of rustic charm and modern elegance, with wooden tables, exposed brick walls, and warm ambient lighting that made it feel effortlessly inviting. What truly elevated the experience was the view. Through the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, we overlooked EmQuartier’s lush vertical garden, a striking cascade of greenery against the sleek glass and steel of the city. It was the kind of setting that made the meal feel even more indulgent—peaceful yet still buzzing with the energy of Bangkok. We started with their classic buttermilk pancakes, adding crispy bacon for that extra touch of indulgence. The pancakes were thick, golden, and impossibly fluffy, with a buttery softness that soaked up just the right amount of maple syrup. The bacon, crisp and smoky, added the perfect contrast—a salty bite that cut through the sweetness and made each forkful even more satisfying. It was simple but executed so well that we kept going back for more. Their signature Roast Breakfast was equally impressive—a hearty spread that felt both comforting and indulgent. The scrambled eggs were creamy and rich, perfectly cooked to that soft, custardy consistency. The sourdough toast had a crisp, golden crust that gave way to a chewy, airy center, perfect for soaking up the juices from the roasted tomatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The bacon was crisp and flavorful, the sausages juicy and well-seasoned, bringing everything together into a breakfast that was deeply satisfying without being overly heavy. Getting there was effortless—just a quick BTS ride to Phrom Phong Station, and EmQuartier was right at the doorstep. Whether you’re looking for a slow, indulgent brunch, a quality cup of coffee, or just a beautiful space to unwind with a view, Roast Café is the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over. It’s one we’d return to in a heartbeat. #thailandtrip #localfood #thingstodo #citydaytours #myitinerary #travel #couplestrip
