It was originally built in the late 17th century, but its current form seems to have taken place around the beginning of the 19th century. It is also related to the Thai royal family and is one of the temples that has watched over the history of the founding of Bangkok. The biggest feature of Wat Arun is the large pagoda that stands in the center, about 70 meters tall. This pagoda is finely decorated with colorful ceramic fragments, shells, and colorful glass, and looks very beautiful against the blue sky and sunset.
