Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan

Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan, originally known as "Wat Sam Chin" or "Temple of the Three Chinese", was founded by three Chinese individuals who jointly built this temple as a place for making merit. Today, the temple is over 140 years old. A highlight of the temple is the Phra Maha Mondop Vihara Luang, which is almost entirely constructed from marble, and it houses the Phra Buddha Maha Suwannapatimakorn, or "Luang Por Thongkham" - the world's largest solid gold Buddha image, recorded by the Guinness Book. Inside the temple's ordination hall, there is also the Phra Buddha Tras Phorn Yan, commonly known as "Luang Por To Wat Sam Chin".
